Melanie Dress Sewing Pattern
The Melanie Dress is a fitted, midi-length silhouette with princess seams, a soft racerback neckline, and four dramatic godet panels that add movement and drape to the skirt.
The fitted bodice flows into a skirt with just the right amount of drama — the four godet panels open up gradually as you walk, giving the dress an easy elegance whether you're at a summer wedding, an anniversary dinner, or just out for a long evening walk.

HHDK Patterns in Action
The human behind Hey Hey Dorothy Kay. I started this brand with a simple goal: to create sewing patterns that are easy to wear, enjoyable to make, and thoughtfully designed. I’m drawn to clean lines, soft structure, and garments that feel good in everyday life.
Each pattern is developed slowly and intentionally, with attention to fit and the small details that make clothes worth reaching for. I share my process openly and hope it encourages more people to make things with their hands.
